SUFFOLK COASTAL PETANQUE

Formed by members of the Suffolk Coastal Pétanque Alliance, a social league which has been running multiple leagues and competitions for over 15 years, the Suffolk Coastal Region became an official Pétanque England affiliated region in 2024.

We competed in our first Inter Regional Tournament in 2024, achieving a very respectable 5th position in the Championship Division 2.

In 2025 we improved on our placing in the Championship Division 2; our squad of eight teams finished in second position, only narrowly missing out on top placing and winning promotion for the 2026 competition. Also, we were able to send a squad of a further four teams to compete in the Challenge Division 2 and they achieved a respectable 5th position in their competition. The combined results of our 12 teams meant Suffolk Coastal achieved 5th overall in the Presidents Cup, the best placing of any team without the results of a junior squad to add to their total number of wins.

Looking forward to the future, we hope to continue growing the region, whilst retaining the spirit of friendship that defines both the SCPA and our new Suffolk Coastal Region.
